Kobe Bryant's response to Mark Cuban is tweet

MAVERICKS OWNER Mark Cuban - no stranger to controversy - said during a radio interview Friday that the Lakers could reduce their salary-cap tax by releasing Kobe Bryant under the amnesty provision.
Not surprisingly, the Lakers were ticked off by that remark.
On Sunday, before the Mavs hosted the Lakers, Cuban reminded everyone that he had said he was speaking hypothetically.
Too late.
Bryant dropped 38 points to lead the Lakers to a 103-99 win, and then tweeted, Amnesty THAT.
To his credit, Cuban took retort rather well. Nice to know there is a least one team and their players, outside of the Mavs, that listen to everything I say, he tweeted.
Cent of a woman
What is it about glamorous sideline reporters that turns grown men into letches?
At a Jets game in 2003, a drunk Joe Namath made a fool of himself by telling Suzy Kolber he wanted to kiss her.
On Sunday, after the Daytona 500, a sober-looking 50 Cent walked up to Erin Andrews and tried to kiss her on the lips while she was on the air. Andrews quickly turned her head and the puckered rapper kissed her left cheek instead.
She then turned and fled - as a camera-crew and 50 struggled to keep up with her. Were going to see Danica Patrick. Andrews said while walking briskly. Do you guys believe this?
Sock update
The bloody sock that then-Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling wore during Game 2 of the 2004 World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals fetched $92,613 at a live auction Saturday night in New York.
Heritage Auctions, which predicted the sock would bring more than $100,000, did not divulge the name of the winning bidder.
Remember when
It was on this date in 1972 that the Phillies acquired Steve Carlton from the Cardinals for Rick Wise.
