Report: Thunder pursuing Dorell Wright
Keith Pompey, Inquirer Staff Writer Posted: Tuesday, July 2, 2013, 3:01 AM
The Oklahoma City Thunder were not expected to do much this summer in free agency.
However, the team is aggressively pursuing Dorell Wright, an unrestricted free agent from the 76ers, according to Yahoo Sports.
The 6-foot-9 small forward averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists last season. He shot 37.4 percent on three-pointers during his lone year with the Sixers.
Trying hard to remain under the luxury tax, the Thunder wont have much more than $5 million to offer a free agent. Wright made $4.1 million last season and is expected to demand more than $5 million in 2013-14.
