Year in Sports quiz

Twice the As won games that lasted seemingly for half of 2013. Amid a desultory Giants season, Tim Lincecum threw a no-hitter, and two months later, Yusmeiro Petit came one pitch from doing Lincecum one better.
One Bay Area quarterback ran for more yards in a game than any other QB in NFL history. Another Bay Area quarterback had the longest run by a QB in NFL history.
Stephen Curry put together a signature game at Madison Square Garden. The Sharks put together fast starts to two seasons in one calendar year. Oracle Team USA put together a brilliant finish to the Americas Cup.
Those were some of the memorable moments in Bay Area sports this year. For a quiz that refers to those moments and many others, please see Page B4. BASEBALL
