Thurs. Pa. girls: Ryan wins on Dadalski's gem

Kerri Dadalski pitched a no-hitter and struck out 12 Thursday, powering Archbishop Ryan to a 4-0 shutout at Archbishop Wood in Catholic League softball.
Dadalski, a junior righthander, walked only three as the Ragdolls improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the league.
Sara Ostaszewski sparked Ryan at the plate, going 2 for 4 and driving in two runs.
Also in the Catholic League, Lansdale Catholic blanked visiting Neumann-Goretti, 2-0, behind Ashley Seals two-hit, nine-strikeout complete game. Greta Sheridan socked a solo home run.
Catholic Academies. Freshman Brianna Wright triggered a three-run eighth inning with a leadoff double, helping Villa Maria to a 4-1 win at Gwynedd Mercy. Sophomore Maddie Abbot struck out 15 and walked none for the victory.
Marist recruit Brittany Colombo drove in five runs, scored three times, and went 3 for 3 in host Nazareths 10-1 rout of Sacred Heart.
Nicole Everhard struck out seven in recording the win in St. Basils 2-1 success at Villa Joseph Marie.
Central League. Erin Redden outpitched Bridget Newman in Upper Darbys 5-3 triumph at Haverford High. Redden allowed eight hits and struck out three and Newman yielded nine hits and fanned two, both in going the distance.
Courtney Scarpato pitched a five-inning one-hitter and struck out nine for host Springfield, which shut out Strath Haven, 10-0.
Suburban One National. Nikki Wild homered and drove in three runs and Carly Coleman allowed four hits over 41/3 innings to send Neshaminy to an 11-1 win over visiting Bensalem.
Public League. Cayley Hoffman roped a bases-loaded double to highlight a five-run seventh inning that carried GAMP to an 8-6 comeback win at Mariana Bracetti.
Lisa Colon had a home run and two doubles in a 5-for-5, five-RBI performance, and host Esperanza rolled at Franklin Learning Center, 18-4.
Jasalina Hak went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Imani Fletcher was 3 for 3, and Del-Val Charter won at CAPA, 16-4.
Bicentennial. Tabitha Mulholland, Elizabeth Schmucker, and Rachel Lange each had three hits and Rebecca Good struck out eight over six innings for Delco Christian in a home win, 10-7, over New Hope-Solebury.
Emma Dorshimer scored six goals and Kourtney Walter had four to power Jenkintown to a 15-3 victory at Lower Moreland in the Bicentennial League.
Central. Seven Harriton players, including Maura Henderson (four) and Sabrina Tabasso (three), scored goals in a 14-8 triumph over visiting Conestoga.
Spurred by Haley Wardens seven goals and Dana Davis five, Garnet Valley eased past visiting Haverford High, 19-7.
Ches-Mont. Brittany Edwards led Downingtown West to a 12-6 home victory against Great Valley by scoring seven goals. Linnea Hughes had four for the Patriots.
